Editorial services and transparent pricing
Seideldexa offers five core editorial services, each built on the same foundation: verified facts, primary sources and clear written agreements. Below you will find our complete rate card with both HST-inclusive and pre-tax pricing, along with our standard terms for deposits, cancellations and revisions.
How our pricing works
Every price listed on this page is quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and includes Ontario's 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). We also show the pre-tax amount so you can see exactly how costs break down. Our registration number for HST purposes is 725891403RT0001.
For projects totalling more than $2,000 CAD, we require a 30% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is invoiced upon delivery of the final work product. Business clients on approved credit receive Net 30 payment terms from the invoice date.
You may cancel any engagement free of charge up to seven business days before the agreed start date. After that window, the deposit is retained to cover planning and resource allocation already committed to your project. Every project includes two rounds of revisions at no additional cost. Additional revision rounds can be arranged at an agreed hourly rate.
Rush delivery is available on investigative reporting projects at a 35% surcharge on the standard rate. For other services, expedited timelines are assessed case by case during the discovery call.

Standard terms at a glance
Deposit
30% deposit required on projects exceeding $2,000 CAD. Due before work begins. The remaining balance is invoiced upon final delivery.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 7 business days before the agreed project start date. After that point, the deposit is non-refundable.
Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included in every project at no extra charge. Additional rounds are billed at an agreed hourly rate.
Payment Terms
Bank transfer (Interac e-Transfer, wire) or cheque. Business clients: Net 30 from invoice date. All prices in CAD including 13% Ontario HST.
Archive Access
All project files, raw materials and correspondence are securely archived for 24 months from the date of final delivery.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all rights to commissioned work transfer to you. We retain no publication rights unless explicitly agreed in writing.
